To express our gratitude to all TPEC fans! "TPEC-WEEK" held

●Background and Aim

TPEC's predecessor, the former BPA and the former MTA, were founded in August 1991, and in April 2007, two companies merged to become TPEC. It has been more than 30 years since our founding, and the present TPEC is due to everyone who has been involved with and supported TPEC. We are grateful for this, and in August we held various events under the name "TPEC-WEEK" in order to strengthen our unity as a TeamTPEC and raise awareness toward further growth.

●Outline of "TPEC-WEEK" Implementation

Date of implementation: August 22-23,
Venue: Head Office/Fukuoka Technical Center & Online
✓Four events were held  under the themes of "learning," "experience," and "interaction." (see the right figure)
✓Online events and video streams were also held to enable all employees to participate beyond the boundaries of  bases.

●TPEC Technical Report Meeting

The event was held at the Oval Hall of Japanese Red Cross Kyushu International College of Nursing, adjacent to TPEC, as a place to share and study in-house digital operations, with 150 participants at the venue and 320 participants on the web. Eight representatives from each division reported on the results on a daily basis. The listener was greatly inspired by the content of the report because it provided an opportunity for internal members to know again what kind of work they are conducting. A technical question-and-answer session and an English-language question-and-answer session were held for presentations in English, providing a good opportunity to raise the experienced price of the presentation ability as an engineer.

●Digital lab tour

TPEC aims to build digital twins through real-world and virtual collaboration in order to realize its vision of manufacturing centered on CPS(※). 1F Digital Lab at the Head Office and Fukuoka Technical Center verifies and develops brick-and-mortar × virtual, and leads to the development and proposition of digital engineering tools that are best suited to customers. (see the left-hand chart below)
This time, employees, who have little opportunity to see the product on a daily basis, are enthusiastically visiting the company from the viewpoint of "What can be used for solving the problems of their own operations and customers?" as an opportunity to learn about the company's development items on-site. There was also a lively exchange of opinions.

●Long Service Award

To express our gratitude to the 19 employees who have contributed to the development of TPEC over the years, we held an award ceremony and lunch reception.

~Below are comments from the award winners~

Thank you very much for organizing the long service award and ceremony. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Looking back, the 20 year's have flown by and there have been many hardships, but I have come this far thanks to the daily support of my boss and everyone else. I will continue to devote myself with a humble attitude and gratitude, and I look forward to working with you in the future.

●General meeting of partner companies

In addition to communicating our gratitude to our partner companies on a daily basis, we held a general meeting of partner companies in a face-to-face format (hybrid with online) since 2019 with the aim of further strengthening cooperation.
In the morning, we held a digital laboratory tour at the Fukuoka Head Office, and in the afternoon, we held a general meeting and social gatherings at the venue in Hakata. We received attendance from 40 people from 22 companies and 78 people from 38 companies attended via the web. Amid rapid changes in social conditions and the environment surrounding the company, we were able to disseminate information and exchange opinions on the company's situation and future direction, and this was a valuable opportunity.
