What is the SDGs?

SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS

SDGs, which stands for “Sustainable Development Goals”, was adopted at the United Nations Summit in 2015 as a set of international development goals from 2016 to 2030. It consists of 17 goals such as “INDUSTRY, INNOVATION AND INFRASTRUCTURE” and “SUSTAINABLE CITIES AND COMMUNITIES” in pursuit of achieving the sustainable world.

TPEC Environmental Challenge 2050

TPEC has formulated the "TPEC Environmental Challenge 2050", which consists of four challenges, with the aim of realizing a sustainable society and contributing to Toyota Motor's "Producing Happiness for All". We are making company-wide efforts to realize an earth-friendly future.

Activity to preserve the seawall environment in Munakata city , “Satsuki Matsubara Adoption Program ”

Through cleaning & weeding volunteer activities in the Satsuki Matsubara pine grove in Munakata city, we contribute to environment & landscape preservation on Genkainada coast.

We participate in the "Adoption Program," which the Munakata City Government has promoted as part of efforts to preserve the Satsuki Matsubara pine grove facing the Genkai Sea. We engage in activities to take good care of native vegetation and keep the excellent appearance in order to leave this historical Matsubara for the next generation.

Environment preservation with using digital devices

Paperless operations using digital devices

Devices such as “Danchi-kun,” “Mejakuru” and AR enable smooth check without handwriting. OCR technology makes digitization and field operations more efficient. Besides, digitization leads to paperless operation.
