●TPEC's ever-evolving core technologies
In SE areas of project work(press, body, painting), we are working to improve drawing completeness at an early stage and develop DE techniques through day-to-day operations in order to meet customers' expectations.
In the body area, new joining technologies and materials are being adopted to improve body rigidity for thousands of spot welded hits per unit, and as a result, the management of processing conditions (gun pressure, energization time, etc.) of each hitting point is becoming more complex. At the time of SE review, these processing conditions were assigned to the dot data by hand. However, as the number of dots subject to this system increased, this became an issue in terms of man-hours and quality-assurance.
Therefore, in 2010, TPEC developed a "Hit-Point Assessment Sheet" that enables unified control of hitting information, including processing conditions, and automated assigning of processing conditions to hitting data. This resulted in a significant reduction in man-hours and an improvement in quality assurance.
Since then, we have been continuing to improve the Hit-Point Assessment Sheet in tandem with the advancement of bonding technology to improve product appeal. We are currently working to create further added value as one of TPEC's core technologies.
